Chemical Composition/Ingredients
The GHS is an acronym for The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. The GHS is a system for standardizing and harmonizing the classification and labelling of chemicals. Chemicals are associated with codes that define their health, physical and environmental hazards. This universal hazard communication system was developed to ensure that employers, employees and consumers are provided with adequate, practical, reliable and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, so that they can take effective preventive and protective measure for their own health and safety.

Primary Chemical Name is the standard name assigned to a chemical substance.
ChemicalChemical Abstracts Service Registry Number is a unique identifier for a chemical and its synonyms. CAS numbers identify the chemical, but not its concentration or specific mixture. CAS Registry Numbers are assigned by the Chemical Abstracts Service, a division of the American Chemical Society. For more information: www.cas.org

We have assigned "ID numbers" (with 6 leading zeros or nines, e.g., 000000-xx-x , 888888-xx-x) or 999999-xx-x) for blends and chemicals that do not have CAS numbers. Is a seven-digit number (xxx-xxx-x) assigned by the European Commission to chemicals contained in three inventories:
EC No.
EINECS is the European Inventory of Existing Commercial Substances and its EINECS numbers are displayed as 2xx-xxx-x.
ELINCS is the European List of Notified Chemical Substances that was available after September 18, 1981 and its ELINCS numbers are displayed as 4xx-xxx-x.
NLP is the No-Longer Polymers category and its NLP numbers are displayed as 5xx-xxx-xPercent of chemical in preparation.

EU Hazard Classification Directive 67/548/EECHazard Symbols are used to classify dangerous substances.
Hazard SymbolsRisk Phrases, denoted as a series of numbers preceded by the letter "R" indicate the nature of the special risks, in accordance with Annex III to Directive 67/548/EEC (see Article 23(2)(d) Directive 67/548/EEC). The numbers are separated by either a comma to denote separate statements concerning special risks, or an oblique stroke (/) to denote a combined statement, in a single sentence, of the special risks.
Risk PhrasesSafety Phrases, denoted as a series of numbers preceded by the letter "S" indicating the recommended safety precautions, in accordance with Annex IV to Directive 67/548/EEC. The numbers are separated by either a comma to denote separate statements concerning safety precautions, or an oblique stroke (/) to denote a combined statement, in a single sentence, of the safety precautions.
Safety PhrasesSVHC is a substance (identified by the European Chemicals Agency) that may have serious and often irreversible effects on human health and the environment. SVHC are defined in Article 57 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (“the REACH Regulation”) and include substances which are:
SVHC?
1. Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic to Reproduction (CMR), meeting the criteria for classification in category 1 or 2 in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC or in category 1a or 1b in accordance with EC No 1272/2008This directive was recently replaced by the new EU regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
2. Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic (PBT) or very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative (vPvB) according to the criteria in Annex XIII of the REACH Regulation, or
3. Identified, on a case-by-case basis, from scientific evidence as causing probable serious effects to human health or the environment of an equivalent level of concern as those above (e.g. endocrine disrupters).-- 000333-41-5 -- 5.0 N, Xn -- -- -- Click on each chemical for information on chemical structure, properties and health effects.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children. Soil and turf insect control. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL STORAGE: Store in original container in a cool, dry well-ventilated area. Store product in an area inaccessible to children and domestic animals. Do not store near fertilizer, herbicides, other insecticides, seeds, foods or feed. PESTICIDE DISPOSAL. Securely wrap original container in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash. CONTAINER DISPOSAL. Do not reuse empty bag. Discard bag in trash. PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENT: HAZARD TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS. CAUTION: Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin. Causes moderate eye injury. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating or smoking. Do not store near feed or food products. Food utensils such as spoons and measuring cups must not be used for food purposes after use in measuring pesticide. Do not contaminate ornamental fish ponds. Do not allow people or pets on treated areas until granules have been watered into the soil and the grass or soil is dry. STATEMENT OF PRACTICAL TREATMENT: Swallowed: Contact a physician immediately. Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water and induce vomiting by touching the back of the throat with finger. Repeat until vomited fluid is clear. Do not induce vomiting or give artificial respiration by mouth to person who is unconscious or convulsing. Inhaled: Remove victim to fresh air and apply artificial respiration, if indicated. Skin: Wash promptly with soap and water. Rinse thoroughly. Get medical attention. Eyes: rinse eyes with plenty of water and contact a physician immediately. NOTE TO PHYSICIANS: This product is an organophosphate insecticide. If symptoms of cholinesterase inhibitors are present, atropine sulfate (by injection) is antidotal. 2-PAM is also antidotal and may be administered only in conjunction with atropine. ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS: This product is highly toxic to birds, fish and other wildlife. Birds, especially waterfowl (ducks or geese), feeding or drinking on treated areas may be killed. Because of the migrating habits of certain Atlantic Coast waterfowl, do not apply this product to lawns in Nassau County NY between Nov. 1 and May 20. Do not exceed maximum permitted label rates. Application rates above dose recommended significantly increase potential hazards to birds. Avoid overlapping granules. Granules that are spilled or are visible on soil surface should be covered with soil or thoroughly mixed into the soil. For lawns, follow all watering instructions in the direct use, however, stop watering if puddling occurs. For lawns, do not apply this product to sites occupied by waterfowl or within 75 feet of any body of water which may attract waterfowl, such as ponds or lakes. Keep out of lakes, streams, ponds, tidal marshes and estuaries. Do not apply directly to water. Runoff may be hazardous to fish and other aquatic organisms in neighboring areas. Shrimp and crab may be killed at application rates recommended on the label. Do not apply where fish, shrimp, crab and other aquatic life are important resources. Do not contaminate water with cleaning equipment or disposal of equipment wash waters. NOTICE: Buyer assumes all responsibility for use not in accordance with directions. If these terms are not acceptable, return at once, unopened. 800-897-8524 EPA Reg. #8845-95-478 -
